I've read all the omega auction books, so when I saw His Perfect Match I picked it up (On the KU Program). Normally the name Vlad is associated with Dracula/vampires. But no, this time it's an extremely tall manly male that dresses in chiffon and combat boots. He cooks like a pro yet identifies with dragon shifters because he was raised in a clutch. But not in a cave I don't think. So now I'm wondering why his dragon adoptive parents are pushing him to be the rooster in the hen house. . . You'd think they knew him well enough, especially with the way he dresses, that he wouldn't be happy. They do know he's gay, right? Shifter night must've been something with this turkey fluttering around near the ground and the huge tonnage of dragon off in the distance. Not real chummy. Heck, I wonder how he coped with the other hatchlings.. . At least he wasn't teased for his big but, right? .. . .I still chuckle at that. Jackal is brawny and what 6' 4" yet Vlad stands inches taller. All I wanted was a prominent adams apple and that gobbler would've been perfect. ..
So then there's Jackal, beta to a wolf pack, sweating integrity and caring enough to step up to help. The differences between him and Vlad were there and that extends to a beta and a shifter that wasn't classified as anything. Dinner? Ah. That's right: Prey.
His Perfect Match was short but well written, thought out, and executed. I hope to see more of this couple, even if that gaggle of hens decides to descend and make life difficult. Oh yes and I can't wait for Thanksgiving. - Dan's Wife

I love this story. Short but sweet, it shows how these two came to be. It's hard to picture Vlad as this big, over sized man like he's described because he's so sweet and gentle. Well worth the time and money.

I got into a reading OCD mode, so I fell behind in writting reviews.
I am in the process of correcting that & hope I get to all of the books soon.
Enjoyed this quick little story. I wish there had been more explicit scenes, but nice break from my job.
Recommended for those who don't want in-your-face M/M action. LOVE the cover!!!
For fans of the Omega Auction, this is bliss. I've adored Vlad since he was introduced. Watching him get his happily-ever-after made me smile. I liked getting to know Jackal more. He really is a wonderful hero.

Vlad and Jackel were so different, yet that make it work. Vlad was so far removed from traditional shifter, so would he ever find a perfect match? Jackel wasn't looking for a man that his until he found his sweet tooth..lol. Needless to say Kian Rhodes makes some of the most fascinating matches. A turkey shifter?? And her idea in this book... perfect!!! Can't wait for more.
Vlad is a fantastic character that needed to find his perfect match. Jackal was the perfect Beta for him. He embraced all the things that we love the most about this incredible, unique, beloved shifter. This is a very short, short story but I enjoyed it. I read this instead of gossip ragazines, in the doctor office waiting room. This was much better reading. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES SHORT STORY NUGGET!!!
I love this series and this author love love love. This story follows Vlad (a turkey shifter) and Jackal (Beta from the Blood Valley Pack); how helping someone in trouble becomes so much more. I love the character and development of Vlad he is like a full of engery person who is happy and willing to help. Whereas Jackal never really thought of a future with someone and is just happy to have a pack to call home. This is one of my favorite stories in the series with how different the characters are from the other ones.
I also like how the author includes the other characters point of views and keeps you up to date on what is going on in their life.
