Never doubted this author couldn't keep me engrossed in a sequel. His style of writing won't allow me to ever tire of him and his stories. EVERYTHING IS VIVID and in LIVING COLOR. I get caught up in the characters and the storyline. If Kwan took five years to write the next sequel, I wouldn't need to go back and re-read this one because it's etched in my memory bank. The way he captures the pain, the anger, the sadness of Animal is dangerously real... evident of someone who has experienced all of those emotions on a possibly destructive level. Glad he's murdering the literary game. I've been hooked on this author and this particular character ever since I stumbled upon "Ghetto Bastard". His detail hasn't waivered once in all the books thereafter. How this book does not warrant a 5 star rating, I don't know. IT GETS 5 STARS AND THEN SOME FROM ME!Product details

The plot always thickens as you get closer to the end. Animal has escaped death once again and it seems that Kallah has too but I'd like to know how she faired after Nicodemus saved her when she thought her attempt to save him failed. I really want to see Animal get his children and shake Red Sonja or she is going to get him killed. Be careful who you mate with is so true in this case. I'm waiting for the next chapter in this series.
I love K'Wan's novels. The best part of his Animal stories is that things happen to give u the mystery for a sequel. At least, some justice was served, but every Animal fan know...it ain't Neva over!!!! I learn more about the brotherhood & Priest's legacy with them in this book. Just hope I don't have to wait until late 2016 for the next Animal hit.
I don't know what to really say about this installment. It's like I kept waiting for something to happen & it did but not really the things that you're expecting. There's still so much more that needs to happen. I looked up and was already at 50% before I knew it. I knew Sonja was up to no good & can't wait to see what will happen with her. She has too many secrets. Can't wait for Animal & Justice to meet up again.
I don't know who wrote this book but it wasn't K'Wan. Seems like he is ready to end Animal's story and I wish he would instead of delivering work that is nothing like what he's capable of. Even outside of the MANY grammatical errors, the flow was rushed. K'Wan is very descriptive and I always feel like I'm right in the room while the scene plays out around me...not with this book. The characters dialog didn't even seem normal. I sure hope the real K'wan writes the next one.
Rated a 4 because this author is a great storyteller. I have always enjoyed his books but this made me question Who Wrote This. Errors everywhere, both misspelling and grammatical makes it difficult to enjoy, You're busy trying to figure out what was meant to be. Character mixed up. Also double words. There were errors on every single page. Makes you wonder if the author read this. I'm sorry, maybe an honest review will be helpful.
I never know how Animal and his crew are going to roll, they never seem to amaze me. Animal will learn Sonja is not who she pretends to be he just can't and should not be trusting her. Waiting for the next book.
This story started off right where the last one left off...full of action drama and explained everyone's point of view in every scene...I can't wait for animal 5 to come out I real want to c what's next...thumbs up as usual
