I love this book as I have searched this area 30 years ago. Also worked in Arivaca 40 years ago as a lineman so I have extensive knowlege of this area. I know of some of the people mentioned in this book. I haven't finished reading, but my hair was standing up on the back of my neck when I found Ron met some of the people I knew. I have extensive note on this area an dwill update when I complete the book.Product details

Searching for Arizona Buried Treasures A Two Year Odyssey edition by Ron Quinn Crafts Hobbies Home eBooks Reviews
This trek throughout Arizona is an interesting narrative for anyone familiar with some of the backwater spots of rural Arizona but also those entertaining such an adventure. Can't imagine doing this in the 50s and 60s before cars were reliable but an interesting, though at times redundant account.
Made a nice gift for Arizona relative.
The paragraphs are a little jumbled at times but great stories of treasure that might be still buried out there.
Ron Quinn provides an interesting narrative about his adventures Treasure Finding and other events along the way. I bought the book specifically for following Ron Quinn's writings. I wasn't disappointed.
To a would be treasure hunter, he emphasizes the difficulties of finding treasure and the lure, not unlike gold fever that can turn a sane person into a not so sane person. He was fortunate in what he did find and recognized the greatest wealth he could have was the good friends he spent so much time with.
Great anecdotal stories of experiences in the southwest. Needed a bit more editing and organization to depict the adventures better, but it gives a lot of the local color involved with such quests.
Outstanding personal tribute to a life of adventure and roughing it. Quinn's narrative is down to earth, engaging and entertaining. A really outstanding "treasure book" that represents the best of e-publishing and getting stories out there. Quinn doesn't rehash old tales but draws the readers into his own pursuits with plenty of clues for people that wish to follow in his footsteps.
The book Searching for Arizona's Buried Treasures A Two Year Odyssey was great, especially since I live and prospect where this book was written. I can gain much respect and knowledge from the book.
